ABOUT THE STUD
Wentwood Grange is comprised of three farms totalling 206 hectares (510 acres), each playing a key role in the business. The farms boast undulating terrain, premium mineral rich pastures perfect for developing muscles in young horses.
THE MAIN FARM
The main Farm located on the north side of State Highway 1, operates as a maternity unit where broodmares come to foal and weanlings grow.
THE TOP FARM
Our yearlings are educated and prepared for sale at The Top Farm, located opposite the Main Farm on State Highway 1.
REDOUBT FARM
Located on Maungatautari Road, backing on to the Waikato River, Redoubt Farm is home to our mares in the winter and spellers year-round. Previously a deer farm it provides a tranquil environment for horses with an abundance of shady trees and mineral rich pastures.
